National O League
The National Orienteering League is a series of 12 national events that take place between October through May. National events have several hundred competitors spanning all ages and categories, 6 or 7 courses, newer maps and electronic punching.

Local O Schedule
During the orienteering season, local events are held every Saturday unless a national event is scheduled. Many local events also take place on Friday. Local event are organized by the regional clubs, but attract competitors from all over Israel. Local events usually have about 150 competitors on two or three courses.

Family Activities
Non-competitive wayfarer courses are offered at all orienteering events. String courses for youngsters are also often organized.
Event assembly areas often have picnic and recreational facilities for the enjoyment of family members and friends of competitors.
Relay
In the annual ISOA Relay, clubs go head-to-head with 3-member teams on short, medium or long courses. The relay is a great opportunity for club members to compete as teams and enjoy club camaraderie.
Non-ISOA teams of 3 are welcome to register in advance and participate in the relay.
This year’s Relay event is scheduled for Saturday, 27 April 2013, in the unique and challenging Odem Forest. It will preceded on Friday by the final national league competition of the season.
