Maccabiah Games

Orienteering at the Maccabiah Games

The Israel Orienteering Association is continuing its efforts to locate Jewish orienteers around the world who would like to take part in the Maccabiah Games. The Maccabiah International Sports Committee will consider including orienteering in the Games if enough athletes apply.

The Maccabiah is an international Jewish athletic event held every four years in Israel. A total of 10,000 athletes competed at the 20th Maccabiah Games in July 2017, making it the third-largest sporting competition in the world (after the Olympics and the FIFA World Cup). Athletes from 85 countries participated in 45 sports, as well as paralympic events.

If you are a Jewish orienteer, or have a friend who is, please use the form below to submit your contact information.

NOTE: We also ask you to register as an orienteer at your local Maccabi club in your country. Alternately, contact the European EMC.
